11. Registration:
(1)Time:Starting from today to January 31st (Thursday).
No late registration allowed.
(2)Method:
Registration details: After filling out the registration data on the English (Japanese) application form provided on the website, please send it to jason@tclohas.net.tw. After it is received by the event team, they will send a reply informing you of successful registration.

2. All registration fees must be paid at the “International Competitors Service Center” at the main venue. No change will be provided so competitors must prepare the exact amount for the registration fees.

(4)Note:
1. Each participant is limited to register for one type and one group, no double-registering.
2. If the runners are not able to complete the marathon distance in 5 hours 40 minutes, please participate the half-marathon, instead. Refunding or changing types/groups is not allowed.
3. Incomplete registration, inadequate document, or incorrect registration fee will lead to registration failure.
4. Those who do not select T-shirt size in the registration from will be provided with Large size T-shirt.
5.The contestant who didn’t decide to take the special bus, but paid the fare or decided to take the special bus, but didn’t pay the fare. The conference will regard them as no need to take the special bus.
6.The conference will provide the special buses for contestants to and fro at the day of contest. The person whom had already registers and pays at first. Please select it when you are applied for the contest.

12. International competitor registration and marathon goods retrieval:
l Report to the “International Competitors Service Center” at the main venue on the day of the marathon, March 3, 2013, to receive goods.
l Please bring the “Registration completed” letter sent by the organizers to prove competitor identity and completed registration.
13. 12. The advices before the contest begging:
(1) At the front day of contest (March 2nd), please have sufficient sleep to keep the best condition of your body.
(2) At the day of contest (March 3rd), do not do excise when you are empty stomach. Please take the food 2 hours before the begging of contest.
14. Award:
(1)Prize (the prize winner should provide copy of ID for reference).
In order to encourage all the contestants, winners of both male and female groups will be rewarded with equivalent bonus. Meanwhile, bonus for record-breaking will also be provided. According the tax regulations in Taiwan, domestic contestants who wins bonus over NT 20,000 should pay 10% income tax. Foreign contestants should pay 20% income tax.
1. Record-breaking bonus, final ranking bonus, group ranking bonus will not be awarded to the same contestant, group ranking bonus will be provided for group champion only.
2. Awarded bonus of NT$200,000.

(3)Contestants who complete the task within the regulation time:
1. Contestants completing Marathon will win a medal award, the certificate of achievement, and a souvenir sports towel.
2. Contestants completing Half-Marathon will win a medal award, the certificate of achievement, and a souvenir sports towel.
3. To receive your Finisher Certificate, please to take the “receipt of numbering card” or race number to the Result Picked Station. All certificate should be received on race day before 12:50. Certificates will not be reissued after race.
15. Penalties for violating regulations:
Contestants who break the flowing regulations will be discarded.
(1) Contestants benefited from other’s assistance (such as by vehicle or other
tangible support).
(2) Contestants who registered to incorrect subgroup.
(3) Contestants who are against the sportsman spirit and moral(ex. fighting with the referees).
(4) Contestants who do not wear the RFID watch and race number.
(5) Contestants who do not wear the token from the returning point(Putting on the
wrists for identification).
15. Note: Please read the flowing statement carefully.
(1) Every contestant will receive a RFID Chip and the contestant material card when
checking-in, please double check the name, the number, the contestant material
card, and the RFID Chip. This will prevent contestants from problems caused by
taking incorrect RFID Chip.
(2)Do not have to return RFID Chip after contest.
(3) After finish the competition, please receive your result certificates with number
bibs in Result Pickup Station immediately. Certificates will not be reissued the
competition.
(4) Marathon contestants who pass the returning point after 9:10 AM will be
disqualified. His/her race number will be taken off by the referee of staff (no
challenges allowed). These contestants will wait at the returning point for shuttle
bus to take them to the finish line.
(5)Personal belongings: Contestants personal belongings will be collected on race
day from 5:30 AM to 12:30 PM on March 3rd, 2013. (Please show your race
number to receive your personal belongings after the contest. The event
organizer is not responsible for the lost of any personal items).
(6) Conference will provide pins when the contestants check in.
(7) Please read the contest regulations carefully.
16. Insurance: Including public accidental liability insurance and travel insurance
17. If there is anything not included in the contest regulations, the event organizer keeps the
final right to correct and announce the regulations.
